A quote is an estimate based on the information you provide and is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise. Thermal inspection is condition-dependent: flights are scheduled for the weather, light and thermal conditions that produce reliable data, and a flight may be postponed for weather, wind, airspace restrictions or safety. Postponement for those reasons is not a cancellation.
The client is responsible for confirming that they own the property or are authorized to have it inspected, for safe access, and for notifying anyone on site. Flights are conducted under FAA Part 107 and applicable Virginia law. Where an operation requires an authorization or waiver, the work is not flown until that authorization is in hand.
An inspection report documents what the sensors recorded and what those observations indicate on the date of the flight, under the conditions of the flight. It is not a warranty, a guarantee of condition, a code compliance certification or a structural engineering assessment. Thermal imaging does not see through solid objects and cannot find every defect. Where a finding warrants it, the report will recommend further evaluation by the appropriate trade or licensed professional.
Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice. Deliverables are released on payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, the liability of Blue Horizon Drone LLC arising out of any inspection or use of this site is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. Blue Horizon Drone LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Blue Horizon Drone LLC carries commercial liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time you engage Blue Horizon Drone LLC is the version that applies.
